The Challenge
To increase camp registration for the Atchafalaya Swamp Base, the only high adventure camp that immerses participants in 60 miles of the country’s most intimidating wilderness.
Our Thinking
To create awareness and interest of scouts nationwide about the Swamp Base high adventure trek. Graham Group created a website, a series of collateral pieces, tradeshow materials, videos, and we also executed a Facebook initiative for this world-class scouting destination while promoting early registration for summer treks.
Why it Worked
Graham Group created a compelling campaign that illustrated the excitement awaiting scouts at the high adventure camp. The Atchafalaya Swamp Base experienced a dramatic increase in inquiries about the summer treks and received over 2,500 requests for brochures. Swamp Base quickly became one of the most talked about high adventure camps among scouts nationwide. Entering into its third year, the Atchafalaya Swamp Base exceeded its registration goal for 2014 by 40%, sold out for 2015 and expanded its 2016 treks to accommodate more scouts due to increased demand.
